The Logistics Coordinator/Technical Support Assistant is responsible for providing technical assistance to the sales and installation team and for the coordination of the necessary logistics for the delivery and installation of gymnastics equipment.
The Logistics Coordinator/Technical Support Assistant is responsible for liaising with customers and suppliers in relation to any technical issues arising.
Main responsibilities and duties are as follows:
Develop project sales
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and others to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of products and services.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support and advice in relation to enquiries from customers.
- Work in conjunction with the installation team to address any on-site technical issues.
- Liaise with French Head Office utilising their design and technical teams to source solutions.
- Plan, organise and supervise events and competitions in conjunction with the General Manager.
- Answer questions and help potential and actual customers with technical and products issues.
- Help install equipment and technically train employees and customers when appropriate.
- Report all relevant market and technical information for product research and development purpose.
- Support the Sales Representatives as applicable.
The role will suit an individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude and is very much a hands on role. Whilst the majority of your time will be office based there will be the requirement to travel and visit customers across the UK should the need for a technical solution arise.
Working within a small team you should have the necessary skills and experience to be able to make an immediate contribution and this role will appeal to a person already possessing a technical outlook and an analytical approach to finding solutions.
Salary: c£20K depending on skills and experience
Leave: Five weeks per year plus bank holidays
Pension: 5% employer’s contribution into company pension scheme upon successful completion of probationary period
Hours: Normal working hours 40 per week Monday – Friday – may include some evening and weekend work
